Job Description

BryceTech is looking for a Deputy Director for the Analytics Group with significant experience in data analytics, strategic planning, business development and technical program management. The ideal candidate is a self-motivated and goal-oriented individual with proven experience leading and supervising a consulting team of analysts and subject matter experts to deliver outstanding client service and shares an interest in aviation, space, and technology. Responsibilities include:

  • Manage cross-functional teams of analysts and subject matter experts, including assigning tasking to other team personnel, supervising ongoing technical efforts, and managing overall analytics group performance
  • Work closely with analytics director supporting portfolio execution and financial management of the analytics team
    • Institute regular management project reviews
    • Bi-Weekly PM meetings to discuss coordination issues
    • Regular meetings with individual PMs to review performance, staff, growth, risk (weekly, bi-weekly, monthly depending on size/complexity)
    • Identify risks and develop and implement mitigation plans with PMs
    • Work with PMs to ensure compliance with contract requirements (reporting, deliverables schedules, closeout)
    • Promote career growth within Bryce
    • Work with PMs to ensure financial reporting is frequent, accurate, and uncomplicated
    • Financial focus within PM review meetings to discuss LCAT optimization and strategic staffing
  • Evaluate business opportunities and potential markets, analyzes financial feasibility studies, and researches the market.
  • Manage client relationships building/prospecting/new relationships meetings across customer organizations/offices/centers building Bryce name recognition
    • Develop a network with decision makers and influencers for business opportunity awareness
    • Setting the theme and overseeing the development of white papers/collateral to establish BryceTech proprietary best practices and thought leadership.
  • Develop proposals for government and commercial clients. Provide oversight and direction on proposal development to team members
  • Position company for follow-on work to projects
  • Oversee efforts to support and assist the organization in identifying and securing new business opportunities, including customer relationship building
  • Determine sales targets to ensure full team coverage
  • Support
    • Development of staff in their roles and skillsets
    • Time and workload planning and management for the analytic team
  • Demonstrate thought leadership in the community, including engaging in industry association activities and participating in events of interest to BryceTech
  • Face of the company at conferences, customer meetings, in media

Qualifications

  • Relevant Bachelor’s degree or higher in business, economics, finance, engineering, science, computer science, systems engineering, or related analytic, engineering, math, science, or technology field.
  • 5+ years of experience in program management
  • Experience in management, analysis, and similar support contracts
  • Analytic, technology, and/or space-related expertise is preferred
