Job Description

This position will be supporting a DoD client with a variety of needs including acquisition, program management, technology assessment, demonstration support, and testing and evaluation.

  • The candidate will support the protection and defense of information and information systems by ensuring their availability, integrity, authentication, confidentiality, and non-repudiation. In accordance with guidance set by Presidential orders, Department of Defense (DOD) regulations, Army regulations and industry best practices. The Contractor shall develop, document, enforce, audit, remediate and update cybersecurity controls, policies, procedures, Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs) and maintain configuration management for all information systems within scope of this WBS.
  • The candidate will provide support personnel to meet Risk Management Framework (RMF) requirements and maintain them throughout the systems lifecycle.
  • The candidate will assist with Information Assurance Vulnerability Alert (IAVA) and tasker responses. 
  • Review Risk Management Framework packages and submit an analysis and recommendation to inform the DECOM Cybersecurity Program Manager of the standard of the package, in order to make an informed decision to submit for further reviews through the RMF lifecycle.
  • The contractor shall develop procedures and processes in or to measure compliance of the cybersecurity posture of DEVCOM and the subordinate organizations.
  • The candidate will assist the DEVCOM in developing a concepts of operations, policies, and security architecture recommendations on how to enable DEVCOM S&T development on multiple computing architectures.
  • The candidate will provide support personnel to meet Risk Management Framework (RMF) requirements and maintain them throughout the systems lifecycle.
  • The candidate will develop procedures and processes in or to measure compliance of the cybersecurity posture of DEVCOM and the subordinate organizations.
  • The candidate will meet all Federal, DoD and Army certification and training requirements based DoDI 8570.01 IAT Level II upon start and 8140.01 standards.
  • The contractor shall assist with Information Assurance Vulnerability Alert (IAVA) and tasker responses. 
  • The candidate will communicate and provide support for all the DEVCOM subordinate organizations for entering systems and packs required for accreditation. 
  • The candidate will support, coordinate, and track to closure any IA related taskers from higher headquarters.
  • The candidate will provide agendas 3 days ahead of a meeting and meeting minutes 3 days after a meeting for attendee review and approval.  Once agendas and notes are approved the contractor shall upload these notes to the DEVCOM G6 SharePoint site. 
  • The candidate will provide updates to any policy or documentation required for Cybersecurity. 
  • The candidate will provide weekly reports on RMF, Federal Information Security Modernization Act (FISMA), and IA training to the G6. 

Qualifications

  • Requires a Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) level clearance, tickets SI/TK/G/HCS
  • The candidate should have at least 7 years or relevant experience to the tasks listed above.
  • The candidate should meet all Federal, DoD, and Army certification and training requirements ased DoDI 8570.01 IAT Level II upon start and 8140.01 standards.    
  • Candidate should demonstrate ability to problem solve and work effectively with a team in a fast-paced environment
