Job Description

As an Insurance Account Executive, you will be responsible for servicing, retention and rounding of high net-worth personal insurance clients.

Qualifications

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Essential Job Functions & Responsibilities

  • Handle complex personal accounts with exposures in all 50 states.
  • Prepare new business proposals and executive summaries.
  • Promptly respond to clients, carriers, and management requests.
  • Work closely with producers, advising during new and renewal client meetings.
  • Order and process renewal and change requests with an emphasis on personal insurance risk management.
  • Actively solicit and process additional lines of coverage for all accounts and works to build book of business.
  • Prepare review letters annually, advising clients based on analysis of insurance needs.
  • Ensure the agency goal of 95% retention is met. Proactively follows up on cancellations and BOR.
  • Remain informed regarding industry information, new product information, legislation, coverages and technology.
  • Enthusiastically participate in individual and team projects that enhance employee’s development and our clients’ experience.
  • Takes a proactive approach to managing and anticipating their clients’ risk management and coverage needs and requests.
  • Contribute to stewardship and growth of relationships with wealth advisors and family office partners through thoughtful and resourceful client care.

SPECIAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

  • 10 years personal insurance agency experience. P&C license required.
  • Experience with high net-worth clients and wealth advisors.
  • Professional designation encouraged.
  • Good command of all lines of personal insurance coverage.
  • Understanding of contracts, carrier products, coverage forms and underwriting guidelines.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
  • Experience with EPIC Agency Management System preferred. 
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, as well as good negotiation skills. 
  • Ability to take direction and work both independently and as part of a team. 
  • Knowledge and ability to use applicable rating programs.
