Russian Independent oil and gas producer operating in Western Siberia

The company currently separates produced water and re-injects this without further treatment.

Contamination is starting to cause increased pressure in the injection wells. We need to design a water treatment system.

The scope of work is:

• Define injection water quality needs in discussion with Reservoir Engineers
• Understand current water quality (solids; oil; chemistry) based on available sample data
• Understand operating parameters of our current system
• Advise if any short-term improvements are possible by altering operating procedures
• Select the optimum process design for a Water Treatment Plant

We need a specialist in produced water treatment to give advice and guidance in choosing the type of equipment (e.g.: wash tanks; hydrocyclones; IGF; TPI; filters) best suited to our needs.

The specialist should have experience of designing and operating produced water treatment facilities for onshore oilfields. Fluent Russian.

We anticipate that the specialist will work about 10 to 15 hours / week over a 6 to 8 week period.
