Job Description

Brownstein Group is looking for a Copywriter! The Copywriter maintains the agency’s creative standards in all work developed and executed by the Creative Department. Produces bold, strategic, persuasive campaigns in all media for agency clients. Creates and fosters long-term relationships between agency clients and their customers. Works tirelessly with our integrated teams to bring Big Ideas to life!

You’ll be teamed with other creative types and will be responsible for taking a project from concept through to rollout. You will work with Strategy, Client Services, and Production to create and manage your projects and will present regularly to clients. Projects can run on a normal schedule but sometimes require a quick turnaround. You should be agile and flexible. We’re looking for those up for the challenge and ready to jump in and create great work!

 

RESPONSIBILITES:

  • Create Big ideas. Ideas that have a clear, strategic, persuasive, and engaging message for all media.
  • Develop strong, strategic concepts.
  • Develop creative ideas that are forward-thinking and in line with current media trends.
  • Demonstrate a clear understanding of campaign objectives and strategies.
  • Offer “outside the box” creative ideas and extensions and encourage others to share theirs.
  • Understand the ways copy helps clients achieve their goals, and generate immaculate copy for every brief.
  • In charge of influencing the end-user by delivering a clear message, as well as seeking out new trends and incorporating them into campaigns effectively.
  • Work alongside Art Directors & Designers, must be a team player, a multitasker, and full of original approaches and innovative ideas.
  • Take ownership of copy briefs and answer them to a very high standard.
  • Check all copy generated by team members and offer feedback when necessary.
  • Manage multiple projects, with the ability to switch from one to the other seamlessly.
  • Foster long-term relationships with clients.

Qualifications

  • Broadcast/TV/Video experience – 5-7 years
  • Proven track record as a copywriter, with significant experience in professional, commercial writing
  • Comfortable and confident in their writing
  • Keen eye for detail and timelines, and a drive to deliver
  • Self-assurance
  • A persuasive and confident approach to creativity
  • A strong record in creating immaculate copy that stands out from the crowd
  • The ability to plan and strategize high-profile projects
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Effective team management capabilities
  • Familiarity with creative processes and techniques
  • Confidence in building a rapport with clients and nurturing good working relationships
  • Portfolio required
