Job Description

Broadridge is currently seeking a sharp, business-minded student intern with data analysis and research skills to join our Sales team for a 10 week remote summer internship. The internship provides you with an in-depth understanding of the organization through mentored work experience and training seminars.  Broadridge's internship program offers you the opportunity to work on a range of business assignments, utilize the skills you have developed and match your interests to a real job.

You will with a substantial experience, along with management support and resources to be successful.

This Internship will give you the opportunity to explore Broadridge as a potential employer upon graduation. This is an exciting opportunity for you to learn more about the rapidly growing financial technology area.

Our program has five main components:

1. Organizational Learning Opportunities: Day-to-day work that aligns within the function of the business unit

2. Management Learning Opportunities: Group Learning Discussions, Leadership Development Trainings, Professional Mentorship Relationships, Small group projects

3. Professional Social Networking: Informal Networking Events for Interns

4. Industry Knowledge Development: Financial Industry Event, Broadridge 101 Training, Operations Facility Tour(s)

5. Broadridge Presentation: Frequent collaboration towards a Broadridge presentation given to senior leaders of Broadridge at the conclusion of the program

Key Job Functions/Responsibilities

  • Support with general administration projects including updating the Broadridge CRM system, contact management and file management
  • Work closely with the CDN marketing team to help with marketing activities, including pre-event research, on-site/remote support and post event execution
  • Maintain inventory of sales literature and promotional items
  • Research where required to assist sales team
  • Proofread and edit Sales presentations and documents as required

Qualifications

Basic Skill Level Requirements

Education:

  • Currently enrolled student seeking a degree in the financial industry; preferably Business Management or Marketing
  • Undergraduate students working towards a Bachelor's degree in their junior or senior year of study
  • Minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA. Additional requirements might apply

Computer Skills/Tools: 

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Word, and Excel)

Personal Skills:  

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Detail oriented
  • Additional ad hoc duties as assigned
