Job Description

  • Be the primary business requirements point of contact with clients to interface with PRM Technologies
  • Understand the business process requirements of our clients and help translate them into future state processes and support or prepare Business Requirement Document (BRD)
  • Document and analyze the required information and data to understand and support the business processes
  • Sheppard/oversee the clients’ business requirements throughout the SDLC
  • Strong familiarity with technical integration patterns, RPM’s API definitions and business usage
  • Leading System Requirement Document (SRD) walkthroughs with clients, RPM’s architecture and development teams
  • Liaise as required with client vendors in support of technical integration
  • Facilitate knowledge sharing, training sessions, sales support and provide business Subject Matter Expertise (SME) to clients and potential stakeholders
  • Support clients during the software configuration process to meet their business needs
  • Support clients with industry certifications (RESP & RDSP)
  • Support client implementations and post implementation Business as Usual (BAU) support
  • Travel may be required at client locations
  • Other duties as assigned by Management


  • 7+ years in a business analyst, business subject matter expert role
  • College Diploma or University Degree, preferably in a Business and/or Computer/Software related discipline
  • Financial industry knowledge including: regulators and regulations (IIROC, MFDA, OSFI, FATCA, AML, CASL, etc.) 
  • Familiarity with Financial industry business data domains (CIF, Product, Finance, etc.) 
  • Experience in the financial services sector. Knowledge of Term Deposits, Mutual Funds (record keeping or distribution), Equities, ETF, etc. 
  • Knowledge of project management methodologies and SDLC
  • Experience with portfolio management is a definite asset
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
  • Excellent facilitation, written and verbal communication skills
  • A proactive, “service-first” attitude combined with superior interpersonal and presentation skills
  • Ability to work independently on projects with tight deadlines and minimal supervision
  • Fully bilingual (French / English verbal and written) would be an asset
  • Any investment industry related certifications that pertain to investments and/or registered product management would be considered an asset
