Job Description

The Personal Assistant Associate provides non-medical services to clients in support of maintaining an independent lifestyle. The Personal Assistant Associate – can reference self as a “friend” - helps with a variety of opportunities such as: meal preparation, grocery shopping, errands, accompany resident to appointments, pet care, light housekeeping, light garden care, shopping, calendar management, medication reminders, travel assistance and above all else creating and maintaining a trusting relationship.

Qualifications

·       High School diploma or GED required.

·       2-3 years’ experience working with older adults preferred.

·      Must have a valid Class C driver’s license.

·      Must be able to operate cars, vans, and SUVs as needed from the Broadmead fleet of vehicles.

·       Understanding of basic computer skills and the ability to use technology in scheduling and electronic charting.

Willing to complete a CPR certification and First AID course within the first 90-days after general orientation through Broadmead or an organization that is certified for health care providers to maintain continuing employment in the position.
