Job Description

This is Full-Time position (Exempt) : 8 hrs. Monday-Friday

The role of the Talent Acquisition Manager (TAM) is to research, interview, screen, and refer qualified candidates for job openings. The TAM will collaborate with management across multiple departments, to fill positions in a timely manner.

Essential Duties

  1. Leads the recruitment and NEO process.

  2. Works with management to ensure timely understanding of current and future workforce needs and implement improvements to staffing processes including sourcing and selection.

  3. Confers with management and supervisors to identify personnel needs, job specifications, job duties, qualifications, and skills.

  4. Sources top-level talent and makes appropriate referrals to Hiring Managers to further screen/interview candidates for hire.

  5. Develops and maintains network of contacts to help identify and source qualified candidates.

  6. Manages the applicant tracking system

  7. Serves as lead on employee branding efforts, employee website, social media platforms and other recruitment initiatives

  8. Coordinates new hire surveys.

  9. Develops recruitment and retention programs, and monitors budgets to attract applicants to fill specific job openings.

  10. Analyzes and develops recruitment strategies.

  11. Responsible for monitoring and analyzing retention statistics and making recommendations for improvement.  

  12. Reviews applications and interviews applicants to obtain work history, education, training, job skills, and salary requirements, and to provide information about the organization and position.

  13. Responsible for job advertising in various media and coordinates the development of recruitment materials.

  14. Makes public presentations at schools, organizations, and job fairs regarding the organization and opportunities.

  15. Works with external recruiters and employment agencies to identify and recruit candidates.

  16. Serves as an active participant of the EOC and GPTW work groups

  17. Develops and coordinates internal job posting program.

  18. Develops and maintains contacts with schools, alumni groups, and other public organizations to find and attract applicants at events such as job fairs.

  19. Utilizes internet and social media platforms to identify and recruit candidates.

  20. Arranges travel and lodging for out-of-town applicants.

  21. Works closely with departments during new employee orientation.

  22. Maintain personal contact with new employees through the new hire period.

  23. Accountable for the overall performance of the recruitment budget.

  24. Accountable for promoting internal customer service.

  25. Abide by the organization’s code of conduct.

  26. Perform other related duties as required


  • Minimum of two years recruiting experience is required.

  • Minimum of two years of experience in human resources, preferably in a health care setting

  • Bachelor’s Degree (BA/BS) in Human Resource Management or related field

  • Knowledge of employment laws

  • SHRM/PHR certification preferred
