Our start-up consumer goods client is looking for a Sales Development Representative to build their business. Its L.A. division is growing quickly as they expand their market share and become a major player in a relatively untapped niche. This is a great opportunity to join an entrepreneurial team and grow a new division.
Job Description
- Prospect and close new customers
- Explain the advantages of our client’s apparel products
- Plan and give presentations to prospective customers
- Develop new processes for managing the sales pipeline
- Transition customers to the Account Management team once they are ready to buy
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree
- 2+ years of experience in sales with an excellent record of achievement
- Inside sales experience a strong plus
- Clear achievement pattern (promotions, awards, accomplishments, etc.)
- Entrepreneurial spirit and the ability to wear many hats
