Job Description
Your role will be to drive new business development across the UK. Taking the fire and security range of products and services to new clients requiring annual contracts for the servicing and maintenance of their equipment. You will target an annual figure of service and maintenance contracts, acquiring new customers looking to renew or change from the current incumbent. You will be targeting end users, large scale organisations and multiple site holders within the sector looking to use services such as fire alarms, intruder, CCTV, access control, monitoring, manned guarding and many other related products and services.
Within the role you will be leading the business development across the UK region and identify opportunities to increase profitability by the inclusion of services to further the portfolio of the potential or existing customers. You will have the support of engineering and operations to present solutions of varying sizes to customers. Creating a professional and all encompassing image of the company is essential.
You will be remotely based with the need to attend the key offices on a regular basis to present results and for training on the business and products.
The core job summary will be;
1. Develop a strategic plan for the company’s growth within your area
2. Identify new opportunities to generate revenue
3. Present and negotiate potential deals with partners from all levels of companies
4. Drive execution of the company’s strategic plan
5. Manage budgets and forecast revenues
6. Provide guidance and support to team members on various tasks
7. Ensure team members are meeting deadlines
8. Ensure that all projects are on track to meet deadlines
9. Work closely with other departments to ensure smooth operations in all areas of the company, including marketing, human resources, legal, design etc.
You will be part of a wider team and organisation which you will play a key role in communicating with. This will be to deliver sales opportunities to other areas including the service team and other parts of the Group.
Reporting directly to the Head of Sales for installation, you will manage a monthly target for both profit and turnover. Integrating into the CRM you will deliver daily, weekly and monthly activity for sales generation and pipeline.

The ideal candidate will firstly have a proven track record of sales generation and growth within an annual target, which is constantly exceeded. You will have developed a commercial understanding of profit margins and how to increase these using techniques and the company's services.
The candidate will also ideally come from a background of fire and security with experience of service and maintenance contract sales across a range of products and services.
You will have impeccable planning and time management skills to maximise the most efficient execution to deliver expected growth, for which you will be rewarded highly.
Other market sectors involving service contract selling will be considered if the candidate can show clear advantages in terms of their sales pedigree and communication.
As you will lead the sales in your portfolio there will be a need to demonstrate organisation and pipeline management, with the opportunity to expand the sales team this role could be pivotal in a progression with a clear demonstration of success.
Within your skills will be the ability to show the stages of sales from prospecting to closing and the communication skill desired to deliver consistently in a pressured and fast moving workplace.
The role will lead to clear progression and you will be looked to provide market data on your area and portfolio as to the position of competitors and knowledge of new projects.
