As an Account Executive – Content Marketing at Brandpoint you will be a part of a dynamic sales team focused on growing our content marketing business. In this role, you will focus on prospecting and consulting with prospects to identify their business goals, and positioning Brandpoint’s content marketing services as the solution to reach those goals. This “hunter” role is the perfect opportunity for those who interested in taking their sales career to the next level. 

Job Description

  • Prospect new clients through networking, attending local business and industry events self-generated leads, social media, outbound calling and in-bound marketing leads.
  • Develop a list of target accounts and a strategic plan to win business from them
  • Maintain relationships with clients to ensure satisfaction, account renewal and growth.
  • Establish rapport while gathering key information from prospective clients
  • Qualify prospects by using your understanding of the Brandpoint solutions that are ideal for addressing the prospects’ pain points
  • Schedule discovery calls and guide clients through our web-based sales presentation
  • Collaborate with the entire content marketing team to develop the best solution for your prospects and clients
  • Utilize standard proposals and create custom service packages for clients
  • Close sales and grow your book of business
  • Lead  renewals and account growth on existing contracts by working closely with the account team
  • Track and update all activities in Salesforce.com
  • All other duties as assigned

Time breakout

  • 40 percent prospecting
  • 20 percent creating proposals
  • 20 percent growing accounts
  • 10 percent closing sales

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in business, management, marketing or related field
  • 3+ years of B2B sales experience with demonstrated top performance in prior roles
  • Strong persuasion and prospecting skills, a “hunter’s” mentality
  • Critical thinking and solutioning skills
  • A positive attitude and desire to exceed expectations
  • A passion for seeing the big picture and driving toward a vision
  • Experience as and success within a full-cycle sales role
  • Demonstrated drive and resilience to win new business in prior roles
  • Strong problem-solving skills including an ability to think ‘on their feet’ when faced with challenging questions in the sales environment
  • Strong client management skills
  • Exceptional presentation skills
  • Confident and thorough investigative skills to lead discovery process, understand the opportunity, gather requirements, and craft a vision for the engagement and the outcomes desired
  • Experience selling digital content solutions and SEO
  • Experience tracking business in a CRM, preferably Salesforce
  • Proficiency in PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Outlook
