Job Description

The Client Success Manager focuses on building valuable relationships with our clients, helping them grow their business through content marketing and providing valuable expertise to help them achieve their core marketing goals.

As the Client Success Manager, you’ll play an active role in planning, delivering and growing all Content Marketing accounts under your management and contribute to the depth, health and longevity of the client relationship. You’ll be a fierce advocate for Brandpoint services and client needs, always on the lookout for better ways to deliver success for both.

What you get to do:

  • Earn an attractive base salary, plus monthly incentives based on securing renewals and growth of the accounts under your management.
  • Function as a key point of contact with the client for communication, asset delivery, contract scope, client satisfaction and additional opportunities and ideas.
  • Serve as project leader to all assigned project team members throughout the entire lifecycle of the project/campaign.
  • Work with a project manager to lead day-to-day management of projects and facilitate communication between the client and all internal team members involved.
  • Participate in the annual Brandpoint Chili Cookoff!
  • Be the Brandpoint expert on the client’s business, needs, goals and journey. Stay current on content marketing news and trends and play an active role in presenting strategic and tactical recommendations whenever appropriate.
  • Review all client work to ensure it aligns with the client’s brand and strategy and drives toward achievement of goals. Monitor project parameters to ensure projects stay on schedule and in-scope.

  • Coordinate quarterly check-ins with clients to review their campaigns and reporting. Assist with recommendations for tactical adjustments.
  • Set and define objectives for client portfolio over a 12‐month horizon and manage accounts to help achieve those objectives.
  • Compete in Brandpoint’s yearly foosball tournament.
  • Oversee client revenue and profitability, ensuring superior margins and top‐quality output for all client accounts.

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications or related field
  • 5+ years’ experience in a digital agency and/or marketing agency environment managing multiple clients and projects
  • Excellent writing, verbal, presentation and consensus-building skills among a wide array of stakeholders
  • Strong working knowledge of content marketing best practices, including social media, SEO and PPC, email marketing and various other content channels
  • Intuitive and analytical approach to problem solving
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven, creative environment
  • Ability to exhibit client service approach with results-driven performance
  • Ability to communicate clearly and sensitively with clients, vendors and staff members
  • Experience with web analytics (Google Analytics, Omniture, etc.)

Bonus points if you have:

  • Experience working in financial marketing
  • Sales experience
  • Experience working in an agency
  • Experience managing video projects, from concept to production
