Job Description

Objective: Develop content marketing strategies that drive traffic, brand awareness, links, lead generation, and conversions.

What this position is all about:

Brandpoint has an immediate opening for a creative Content Marketing Manager to effectively position the Brandpoint brand, improve brand awareness and equity, drive customer loyalty and engagement, and generate demand. Ultimately, the job of the Content Marketing Manager is to think like a publisher/journalist, leading the development of content initiatives in all forms to drive new and current business.

Core Job Responsibilities and Performance Expectations:

  • Collaborate with the Marketing and Sales Teams to create and implement an enterprise-level content marketing strategy and editorial plan to drive traffic, engagement, and leads that increase sales and enhance customer retention.
  • Manage overall editorial calendar and edit guest and employee contributions to the Brandpoint Blog.
  • Ensure all content is on-brand, consistent in terms of style, quality and tone of voice, and optimized for search and user experience for all channels of content including online, social media, email, mobile, sales collateral, video, and print.
  • Develop editorial governance and KPIs to ensure all content is customer-focused and consistent with brand voice, style and tone.
  • Develop presentation materials for thought leadership events and webinars.
  • Provide content for sales enablement materials including sell sheets, demos and proposals.
  • Contribute to additional web and email copy-writing projects, as well as lead generating downloadable content.

Reports to: Director of Marketing

 

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in creating content strategies and developing/editing content for the web, social media, and traditional marketing channels.
  • Experience with Wordpress, Google analytics, and top social channels.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism or Business
  • Solid understanding of marketing principles and lead generation tactics
  • Knowledge of content marketing and online marketing best practices
  • Editorial requirements include basic SEO understanding, content categorization and structure, content development, distribution and measurement.
  • The ability to consistently develop and share content that drives business and educates our clients and their consumers.
