What this position is all about:

Be a part of the ever-growing content marketing industry. The content marketing industry is projected to grow to $300 billion by 2019 and we are looking for highly motivated salespeople who can help us meet the demands of this growing industry. As an Account Executive – Content Marketing at Brandpoint you will be a part of a dynamic sales team focused on growing our content marketing business. In this role, you will focus on prospecting, consulting with prospects to help build a strategy around their content marketing goals, and positioning Brandpoint as the solution to reach those goals. This outbound cold-calling role is the perfect opportunity for those who have the drive to get into a lucrative sales career.

What you will do?

  • Prospect new clients through self-generated leads, in-bound marketing leads and/or leads coming from our Account Development team.
  • Establish rapport while gathering key information from prospective clients
  • Schedule product demos to guide clients through our web-based sales presentation
  • Consult with prospective clients to help create strategies to meet their content marketing goals
  • Create custom content packages for clients
  • Close the sale
  • Secure renewals on existing contracts
  • Track and update all activities in Salesforce.com 

Qualifications

What you need to have:

  • A consultative sales approach. Content marketing background preferred.
  • 2+ years of B2B sales experience with demonstrated top performance in prior roles
  • Ability to think strategically
  • Undergraduate degree
  • Strong persuasion and prospecting skills
  • A positive attitude and desire to exceed expectations
  • Demonstrated ability to win new business in prior roles
  • Strong client management skills
  • Experience selling digital content solutions
  • The self-discipline, skills and determination to meet and exceed goals
  • Experience tracking business in a CRM, preferably Salesforce
