Job Description

We have created the Sales Development Representative position as a learner role to ensure a successful transition to a commissioned Account Executive role within our Brandpoint sales team. In this role, you will learn every aspect of the Brandpoint sales process, including how to successfully find the right prospects, learn proper sales techniques, and apply them to your everyday activities to grow your earning potential. Your transition from a Sales Development Representative to an Account Executive is completely in your hands. How you will become an Account Executive is by growing your ability to uncover opportunities for business development, meeting and exceeding your call quotas, and advancing your understanding of Brandpoint and our exciting industry. As the introductory face of Brandpoint’s sales team, we’ll rely on you to provide the energy and personality to build our brand and gain the trust of prospective customers.

What you will do?

  • Systematically qualify, generate, nurture an active sales pipeline which can be readily closed
  • Support programmatic and inbound campaigns to build healthy funnel of prospects/leads
  • Participate in 3-way solutioning calls with Sales, Pre-Sales, and Customer to progress leads
  • Work one-on-one with Account Executives in hopes to fully understand our sales process.
  • Show potential clients how we can help them through accurate product information, timely follow up, analyzing their needs, and professional but friendly service.
  • Create your own consultative sales approach by asking the right questions, learning from your colleges, and researching sales best practices.
  • Research industry trends
  • Track activity and progress promptly with our Salesforce CRM

Qualifications

What you need to have:

  • A passion for sales and a desire to learn!
  • Proven results and a goal focused mindset
  • Bachelor’s degree of equivalent education and experience.
  • Ability to use effective customer service skills to ensure client elation
  • Team-player attitude with a desire to see your team WIN
  • Be able to use MS office, including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Strong organizational skills allowing you to effective prioritize customer and business needs
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and oral/written communication skills

Nice but not needed:

  • Prior experience with Salesforce CRM
  • Marketing service sales or Software as a Service sales experience
  • Previous experience with sales research
