What this position is all about:

The Director of Content Marketing Services will serve as the General Manager for the group of service offerings that live within our Content Marketing practice. Primary Content Marketing Services include: Strategy, Content Creation, and Marketing Automation Content. This role serves as the product champion for all Content Marketing service offerings across internal departments and within executive teams.

This position will lead each Content Marketing service offering’s strategic vision, roadmap, and product life cycle. The Director of Content Marketing Services leads ongoing competitive analysis, captures market and client insights, and conducts industry research to drive future product development.

What you will do:

Content Marketing Services

- Services Management

  • Leads the vision, positioning, outcomes, measurement and strategic direction of all Content Marketing service offerings.
  • Drives innovation and evolution of services and business processes. Conducts ongoing competitive, industry, and market research and analysis. Ensures service offerings align with changing needs of our target audiences.
  • Establishes pricing for all Content Marketing services offerings, in conjunction with Brandpoint’s sales management, finance team and president. Ensures pricing and costs for all services fall within the desired margin profile.
  • Defines and oversees all analytics and reporting related to Brandpoint’s Content Marketing services.

- Sales

  • Defines the process for client engagement and sales positioning.
  • Assists in driving sales and renewals of our service offerings.
  • Builds strong relationships with major accounts.

- Marketing

  • Interacts strategically with the marketing department on sales collateral, demos, promotions and product roll-outs.
  • Is a thought leader and contributes to Brandpoint’s Content Marketing efforts by authoring original content and involvement in industry events.

- Operations

  • Defines the Brandpoint approach to content strategy and creation for content marketing and SEO best practices.
  • Reviews the development and fulfillment of client strategies and social media campaigns.
  • Ensures that we are creating elated clients.

- Training

  • Defines process for, trains staff on, and regularly inspects fulfillment and execution.

Other

  • Gets stuff done: Executes briskly with precision and in alignment with our goals and standards.

Qualifications

What you need to have:

- Minimum 5 years digital Content Marketing experience

- Minimum 2 years digital B2B marketing experience

- BA/BS in Marketing

- Experience creating content for the web and growing a social audience

- Proven ability to develop winning Content Strategies

- Editorial mindset that seeks to understand what audiences consume and how to create it

- Ability to measure, analyze and present findings and recommendations on content and social performance

- Experience with Wordpress, Google analytics, marketing automation platforms, social platforms

- Understanding of SEO best practices

- A background working in or writing about Content Marketing or sales automation technology companies.

- Candidates should demonstrate strong communications skills, sound technical knowledge, genuine interest in industry trends and an ability to forge strong internal and external relationships.

- Sales experience and an understanding of sales process
