We are looking for an experienced Modelling and Simulation Engineer to join Bramble’s Stack team and lead in developing electrochemical models of our fuel cell stacks and systems
Job Description
- CFD and Multiphysics modelling for Bramble Energy’s electrochemical device offering including:
- Hydrogen Fuel Cells
- Redox Flow Batteries
- Sensors
- Electrolysers
- Lead Electrochemical modelling focused work packages
- Lead traditional CFD work packages (heat/mass/momentum)
- Integrate with electrochemical modelling focused work packages
- Manage relationship with design team to first interpret their needs and then to follow through and help explain significance of results.
Person Specification
- Interpersonal skills
- Ability to communicate at all levels with differing level of technical knowledge
- Problem solving/interpretation – not always answering the question but figuring out if it’s the right question in the first place
Qualifications
Essential
- Very experienced with COMSOL Multiphysics
- Well versed in Mechanical Modelling – compression/stress/strain
- Well versed in traditional CFD, specifically broadly capable with coupled heat/mass/momentum transfer
- Self-starter, able to work autonomously and communicate well with multiple teams
Desired
- Some experience in both COMSOL Multiphysics and Ansys Fluent
- Experience in Electrochemical Modelling, specifically PEM Fuel Cells
- Fuel Cell & Hydrogen or electrochemical system knowledge
