Job Description

About you

You possess an in-depth understanding of multicultural communications and cultural movement initiatives. You’re highly attuned to the traits and characteristics that make people unique, and you exemplify an inclusive approach that makes others feel welcome. 

You have an acute attention to detail, never letting anything fall through the cracks. When challenges present themselves, you’re proactive. You push items forward to action and thrive in a fast paced environment. You also hold the confidence and experience to multi-task while acting swiftly and surely under pressure.

What you’ll do 

Joining a newly created team, you’ll work closely with Media Partnerships and provide operational support to the Strategic Communities Program as you:

  • Facilitate communication and reworking schedules to meet deadlines

  • Review, evaluate and advise a path forward for project proposals

  • Operate as the liaison between internal leads to coordinate projects and work-streams

  • Prioritize competing needs with good reasoning and creative solutions

  • Work autonomously, with strong project management skills to plan, track and launch initiatives

  • Liaise with multiple teams (Education, Social Impact, Marketing, Communications, Legal, Policy, etc.) and be able to communicate with all levels

  • Identify obstacles and pitfalls, and ensure everyone is on the same page


What you’ll bring

  • Previous experience working in a fast-paced company that has equipped you to manage a pipeline of initiatives and plug into consolidation of efforts

  • Demonstrated project management skills, including stakeholder management and engagement

  • Proven ability to coordinate and facilitate efficient partnerships between vendors, agencies, and internal teams

  • Advanced level Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook)

  • Strong verbal and written communication

  • Hyper organized approached with exceptional attention to detail 

  • High level of motivation to work autonomously and thrive in a fast-paced environment 

  • Deep passion for diversity, equity, and inclusion within the media industry

This is a full-time embedded position working 100% with our client's office based in Menlo Park. Relocation is not provided. This position is remote until further notice, following COVID-19 recommended SIP guidelines.
