We are looking for an experienced Software Engineer with deep knowledge in software architectural design to join our Data Intelligence Division. As part of the Algorithm Infrastructure team, you will drive the architecture of our Algorithmic Services and actively take part in their implementation. These services are core components of the Snke OS platform and support a variety of clinical workflows like radiotherapy planning, neurosurgery, and radiological readings.

When joining this position, you will:

• Design and develop modular, intelligent, and performant services which integrate our state-of-the-art algorithms for medical data analysis
• Actively contribute to expert discussions and take architectural decisions in line with the Snke OS vision
• Design and implement infrastructure components for data-intensive algorithms
• Work on the interface between classic and machine learning algorithms
• Ensure high quality and sustainable software by design
• Share your broad technical knowledge and provide technical guidance to your colleagues
• Have impact on the daily work of medical professionals around the world by creating the framework to make sophisticated data processing procedures usable within our Snke OS platform

• Master’s Degree in Computer Science or related discipline
• Very good communication skills in English; German is a plus
• Proven professional experience in architectural software design
• Hands-on mentality and practical experience in software development, using modern C++
• Broad technical knowledge and interest in trends in computer software and technology
• Being a team player having fun to work with various teams in a complex and evolving environment
• Well-organized and clearly structured, agile working style
• Ideally experience in the field of medical imaging
