Job Description

As a Software Engineer for our Robotics team, you will be involved in the development process from the very first idea until the final product launch. We combine minimally invasive surgery with the art of engineering to facilitate user’s existing needs and to provide new possibilities and functionalities for tomorrow. For our multi-disciplinary team consisting of software engineers, project engineers as well as hardware designers, we are looking for a motivated Software Engineer, who contributes positively to our existing culture and is passionate about developing advanced surgical technologies.

As a Software Engineer in this role, you will

  • be involved in the development process from the very first idea until the final product launch
  • use your programming skills in Bare Metal C, Embedded Linux and Rust to create embedded software that controls a robotic system
  • document and verify the development
  • work closely with your international colleagues from different departments

Qualifications

  • You have an education in Computer Science, Physics, Engineering or related discipline, or equivalent working experience
  • Experience in working with C on embedded systems
  • Experience in Embedded Linux and Rust is desirable
  • Basic knowledge of working with version control systems
  • Basic knowledge of git, Gitlab, KiCAD, python and Linux
  • You want to be part of a high-skilled team and make a difference with your code every day
  • Fluent English, eagerness to learn German and ability to communicate with colleagues from all around the world and different areas of specialty complete your profile
