Job Description

For our growing R&D Radiotherapy division, we are looking for a new software engineer. Working as part of a highly-skilled and agile team, you will maintain and develop medical software applications for planning radiotherapy procedures. Your contribution has an impact on daily work in hospitals around the world.

As a software engineer in this team, your main tasks will be to:

  • develop and implement sophisticated software applications & architecture infrastructure components for radiotherapy treatment planning applications
  • contribute to the success of our future software products with expert knowledge, creative ideas and independent and professional attitude to work
  • program in C++ and implement compact, modular and efficient software code
  • improve our software applications which are used for the planning and execution of medical patient treatments

Qualifications

  • master's degree in Computer Science or an equivalent education as well as experience in professional software engineering
  • analytical thinking and a profound understanding of object oriented software design
  • ideally, practical experience in software development using C++  
  • ability to work in an agile environment with colleagues from all around the world and multiple disciplines
  • very good communication skills in English; German is a plus
