Job Description

Brainlab, Inc. is currently recruiting a TraumaCad Sales Associate to help grow the TraumaCad business in North America. This position will require the candidate to sell TraumaCad software into new accounts, work closely with existing customer install base to sell software subscription renewal contracts, and identify upgrade sales opportunities within their assigned territory. The role will require the candidate to become knowledgeable in various clinical specialties in orthopedics and have daily interaction with orthopedic surgeons, residents, implant representatives, and other levels of hospital administration, while also supporting customers throughout the entire sales cycle (including but not limited to remote and onsite trainings). 

General Responsibilities: 

  • Manage the complete sales cycle (including presentation, evaluation, contract negotiation and close, delivery, installation, and post-sale support)
  • Meet sales goals and objectives set by leadership
  • Create regular pattern of contacting customers, partners, and related decision makers to successfully renew software subscription contracts  
  • Develop creative sales strategies for all existing and potential accounts within territory, taking all buying influences into consideration together with superior
  • Identify, qualify, and follow up with new and existing leads to further the sales process 
  • Translate training and education into successful sales for the TraumaCad product portfolio
  • Provide demonstrations of the TraumaCad product portfolio to numerous project shareholders including: orthopedic surgeons, reps, residents, practice managers, and various levels of hospital administration
  • Establish and maintain relationships with all contacts at qualified accounts through customer visits, emails, phone calls, attendance at congresses, etc.
  • Prepare necessary documents for tenders including quotes, RFP/RFI, and technical questionnaires
  • Leverage existing client relationships to effectively influence other accounts and promote upgrade business
  • Collaborate with existing customers and KOL’s to identify future growth opportunities within accounts 
  • Generate new marketing initiatives through the use of customer videos, testimonials, and other marketing materials 
  • Develop a creative 12-month sales strategy in alignment with Brainlab corporate strategy
  • Conduct accurate sales forecasts and provide data for annual budget planning
  • Work closely with sales operations department to ensure correct order processing and timely product delivery to customer 
  • Share account information with colleagues to stimulate cross-selling within other Brainlab products
  • Relay customer feedback to TraumaCad Support Team and TraumaCad Product Management in a timely manner using established escalation processes 
     

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 2-4 years of experience in inside/outside sales with document success (previous medical sales experience or B2B sales experience is preferred) 
  • Proactive, self-starter, self-motivated, strong work ethic and a proven history of ability to make independent decisions 
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment and quickly adapt to changes  
  • Superior time management and organization skills 
  • Excellent communication skills – polite, articulate, polished 
  • Strong presentation skills 
  • Experience with CRM systems and processes 
  • High comfort level with software and technology 
  • Coachable and constant willingness to learn
  • Excellent listening skills 
  • Positive attitude, willing to help customers
  • Superior customer relations proficiency and experience working closely with senior management
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook 
  • Ability to travel, up to 25%
