Job Description

The Account Services Representative will support Brady customers by providing excellent customer service, ensuring customer satisfaction goals are achieved while retaining and growing assigned portfolio.  The Account Services Representation is also responsible for meeting financial and business goals and objectives, supervising account management activities on assigned service accounts, contract renewal, expansion, and ensuring contractual obligations are met.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following.  Other duties may be assigned.

  • Drives the account management process for assigned portfolio, which includes development of customer account profiles, account strategies, service delivery plan, customer budget planning and scheduled customer visits.
  • Achieve monthly and weekly sales call targets and proposal activity requirements to achieve sales quota.
  • Supports creation and execution of targeted sales campaigns to assigned account base on an ongoing basis.
  • Manages and executes weekly phone-based sales calls plan.   
  • Identifies and communicates issues, business goals and objectives to the sales management on all assigned accounts.
  • Visits job sites, ensuring that assigned work is being executed properly, looking for sales opportunities and communicating with the customer.
  • Prepare subcontract agreements for all assigned work.
  • Responsible for time and materials and Quoted Job pull-through opportunities, working with the estimating team on the proposals and delivering proposals to the customer in a timely manner.
  • Review financial performance of all assigned accounts on monthly basis and provide a correction plan for poor performing service agreements.
  • Responsible for timely renewal of service contracts for assigned accounts, as well as potential pricing and scope increases.
  • Meet department growth plans by selling and expanding customer base.
  • Provides a weekly activity plan to the Area Service Manager and the VP Sales, Direct.
  • Pursue personal development of skills and knowledge necessary for the effective performance of the role. Attend training to further develop relevant knowledge, techniques and skills.
  • Adhere to health and safety policy, and other requirements relating to care of equipment.



Qualifications

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:  Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university; two years HVAC and/or Security experience preferred.

While performing the duties of this job, the associate is regularly required to use hands to operate computer keyboard, and telephone and effectively communicate with others.  The associate frequently is required to sit and reach with hands and arms.  The associate is occasionally required to stand; walk; and stoop or kneel.  The associate must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.  Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
