Job Description

The Range Officer is responsible for the safety of guests. Qualified candidates should have extensive knowledge about the operation of firearms of all types, and they may be called upon to offer assistance for shooters using the lanes.  An RSO's primary duty is to organize, conduct and supervise safe shooting activities and range operations for all shooters at all times. The Range Officer will provide Range orientation for new members and shooters. RSO's will ensure that the entire facility and all operations are maintained at the highest standards

You are a candidate to be an RSO at Boyert if you fulfill the following minimum requirements:

  • You have a great appreciation for firearms and enjoy helping others learn how to safely use them.
  • You are articulate and calm under pressure.
  • You have a strong ability to multitask and be responsive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
