Job Description

Operates vault in the Casino Cage, completes transactions with cashiers, and other venue outlets.  Individual verifies numerous forms of transactions for operational purposes.  Performs various functions with the redemption kiosks, prepares bank deposits, reconcile(s) paperwork from within the Casino Cages.  Individual completes the verification process for Soft Count and other duties as assigned.

  1. Cashiering; the vault auditor is responsible to handle large amounts of money, chips, and other accountabilities in his/her care. They must be able to handle transactions within the cage and other venues with accuracy and with great internal guest service.  They must be able to count/balance the assigned drawer(s) at the end of shift.  Accuracy in the handling of the company funds is expected / required.  Various forms are used in this process and all procedures must be followed.
  2. Maintain redemption kiosks for guest service by:  proper filling, balancing and simple routine maintenance.
  3. Verify the accuracy of all paperwork that is routed through the vault from the cage prior to going to Accounting.
  4. Verify the funds from the Soft and Table drop for accuracy prior to receiving the funds into their inventory.
  5. Prepare bank deposits with thoroughness and accuracy.
  6. Miscellaneous activities as assigned by management/supervisors for various projects/activities/programs/assigned to individual/ team/entire group as required or need arise.

Qualifications

  • Must be 21 years of age.
  • Minimum six (6) month cage cashiering experience.
  • Ability to operate calculators, computers, and money counters for cash and coin.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to read and speak English.
  • Must be able to bend, push, lift, and carry up to 26 pounds in weight.
  • Must be able to obtain/maintain any necessary certifications and/or licenses as required by local gaming regulations.
