Job Description
- Handle personnel-related matters including but not limited to interviewing, hiring, training, coaching, evaluating, counseling, and discharging staff.
- Establish department guidelines, rules and regulations and training programs.
- Coordinate scheduling and assign employees in alignment with business needs.
- Handle customer complaints and concerns.
- Prepare and distribute assignments.
- Inspect and approve cleaning of all assigned areas; review status of assignments and follow-up as needed.
- Check all cleaning aids and equipment to ensure that they are in proper working order and are in compliance with safety standards.
- Handle customer complaints and concerns
- Other duties as assigned by management
Qualifications
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Three (3) years of experience in housekeeping management and Executive
- Housekeeper Certification preferred.
- Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods of time.
- Must be able to lift up to 100 pounds.
- Other physical requirements include but are not limited to bending, reaching, kneeling, squatting, climbing, pushing, and pulling.
- May be exposed to casino-related environmental factors including but not limited to excessive noise and second-hand smoke.
- Must be able to operate and demonstrate the proper use of all equipment.
- Must have general computer skills.
- Must have strong organizational and communication skills.
- Must be able to obtain/maintain any necessary certifications and/or licenses.
