Job Description
**Human Resources Specialist**
Provide comprehensive human resources support across the organization, including employee relations, benefits administration, compliance, and general HR operations for corporate and property work groups.
- Interpret and communicate HR policies, procedures, and employment laws to management and team members
- Manage employee relations by responding to inquiries, addressing concerns, and maintaining positive relationships
- Assist in benefits programs, including enrollment, eligibility verification, and provider coordination
- Conduct new hire orientation and onboarding to ensure positive employee experiences
- Maintain employee records and ensure compliance with employment documentation and labor regulations
- Prepare employment and compliance reports; support performance management and training initiatives
- Coordinate employee engagement activities, recognition programs, and benefits events
- Troubleshoot HR-related technology and system issues; escalate unresolved matters appropriately
- Perform administrative duties including scheduling, meeting coordination, and document preparation
Qualifications
**Human Resources Specialist - Recruiting Qualifications:**
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Two (2) years of human resources experience preferred.
- Knowledge of HR concepts, policies, procedures, and employment law compliance.
- Strong proficiency in MS Office applications and applicant tracking systems.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented with strong customer service orientation.
- Ability to work varied hours, including some evenings and weekends.
- Must be able to obtain/maintain any necessary certifications and/or licenses as
required by local gaming regulations.
