We are seeking an experienced Teller Lead for our pari-mutuel betting facility in Opelousas, United States. In this role, you will oversee daily teller operations while ensuring exceptional customer service and maintaining accurate financial transactions.

• Supervise and train teller staff in daily operations and betting procedures
• Process betting transactions accurately and efficiently
• Manage cash drawers and maintain balanced accounts
• Monitor and ensure compliance with gaming regulations and company policies
• Resolve customer inquiries and handle escalated issues professionally
• Coordinate staff schedules and assignments
• Perform end-of-day reconciliation and reporting
• Maintain security protocols for cash handling and betting operations
• Assist in implementing new procedures and systems updates
• Ensure optimal customer experience during peak betting periods

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Minimum 2-3 years of experience in teller or cashiering operations
• Previous supervisory experience preferred
• Demonstrated experience in cash handling and reconciliation
• Strong mathematical skills and attention to detail
• Excellent customer service and communication abilities
• Proficiency in computer systems and betting terminals
• Knowledge of pari-mutuel betting operations preferred
• Understanding of gaming regulations and compliance requirements
• Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities
• Proven track record of team leadership and staff development
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Prior experience in a similar position preferred.
• Must be knowledgeable about racing, gaming, and all applicable regulations.
• Must be detail-oriented.
• Must have excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Must be able to stand or sit for duration of shift.
• Must be able to bend, stoop, reach, and lift.
• Must be able to obtain/maintain any necessary licenses and/or certifications.
