Job Description
As a Cocktail Server, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to guests by taking beverage orders, preparing and serving cocktails, and ensuring a memorable dining experience.
- Greet guests in a friendly and professional manner, offering menus and taking beverage orders promptly
- Prepare and serve cocktails, wine, beer, and other beverages according to recipes and guest preferences
- Maintain a thorough knowledge of cocktail recipes, ingredients, and beverage offerings
- Carry and balance full trays of beverages while navigating through the dining area efficiently
- Process payments accurately, handling cash and credit card transactions with care
- Ensure tables are properly set and maintain a clean and organized work area
- Collaborate with bartenders, servers, and other staff to provide seamless service
- Adhere to all health, safety, and liquor service regulations
- Anticipate guests' needs and provide attentive service throughout their visit
Qualifications
- Minimum of 6 months of experience as a cocktail server or in a similar role (preferred)
- Must at least 18 years of age.
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and outgoing personality
- Strong knowledge of cocktail recipes and beverage preparation
- Ability to handle cash and process payments accurately
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Stamina to work on feet for extended periods
- Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
- Ability to carry and balance trays weighing up to 10 pounds
- Ability to obtain/maintain any necessary licenses and/or certifications
- Willingness to work flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
