Job Description

Our client in the Salt Lake City area is experiencing tremendous growth and is looking to add on to their Inside Sales team!

The ideal candidate will be very comfortable in a start-up environment – able to roll-up your sleeves and do what’s necessary to succeed. You will thrive in an environment that craves an entrepreneurial spirit, one that doesn’t have everything figured out yet and is looking for leaders to accelerate the success we are achieving. You crave an environment that wants your input to improve the ways things get done and do so with a no-fear can-do attitude.

You will be the company's first point of contact with their newest small to mid-sized prospects. You will be responsible for the fastest moving opportunities, focused on making first contact, teaching customers something new about their ability to use our product to make their work processes more effective, and negotiating deals with a keen eye to speed.

From your command center in our office, you will use your savviness on the phone and your mad computer skills to refine your craft and improve your speed from first contact to close. Your competitive spirit will drive you to be the leader in transactions per month on your team. You will be so hot at doing this, your phone might just melt in your hands.

A typical day may look like this:
• You don’t wait for leads to come to you, you make your own leads.
• You research your geographic territory to identify key suspects by leveraging your knowledge of the market, competitive landscape, and business challenges faced by your industry segments.
• You draft an appropriate method to start a dialogue with input from your team and manager.
• Upon making first contact with prospects, you deftly identify needs for our services.
• With needs identified, you are comfortable tailoring your message on the fly to teach the prospect something of value they didn’t know about how to use our product in their job.
• You take control of the deal and negotiate a contract that the customer is excited about executing.
• You want to brainstorm and share your insights and success with teammates.
• You are eager to take constructive feedback from colleagues and managers.
• You will monitor your own performance by measuring your activities through monthly reporting
• You strive to create presentation masterpieces for executive meetings and presentations
• Use your entrepreneurial skills to improve and share methods of success with your fellow teammates
• You will keep our systems of record up to date on a daily basis with your progress on opportunities

You have:
• 3 years’ experience in a similar role with a smaller company
• Prescient insight so you can adapt in an environment and anticipate next steps like a mind reader
• Ninja like reflexes to handle unexpected events
• An entrepreneurial spirit that drives you to want to try new things
• Been told that your energy and enthusiasm can be felt through the phone
• A knack for attention to detail and organization
