Our client in Troy, MI is looking for a Cost Analyst/Accountant to join their team!

The Cost Analyst/Accountant will provide management with decision oriented information by researching and analyzing profitability and responsible for reporting the monthly financial results (compare actual/ budget, develop proposals for corrective measures), coordinates annual budgeting planning and quarterly forecasting process, handles multiple responsibilities, solves complex problems, adapts quickly to changing priorities and is open to constant challenge and change

Job Description: Monthly reporting, creating monthly budget/actual analysis (cost object and cost center), budget and forecasting process, monitor business processes and these processes in SAP, develop, create, and present reports for cross-functional meetings, monitor sales processes, especially tooling

The ideal candidate will have 5-7 years of accounting experience at an automotive company. A Bachelor's degree in finance, or related area of expertise 3-5 years of experience in SAP Must be highly proficient in Microsoft Excel and Powerpoint Knowledge of German language (oral and written) is highly preferred to efficiently work with our customers and colleagues in Germany.
