Job Description

Night Auditors and desk agents are responsible for greeting and registering the guest, providing outstanding guest service during their stay, and settling the guest’s account upon completion of their stay. However, the realm of responsibilities will extend beyond that of a typical front desk agent.  This allows the Guest Service Agent to expand their skill sets and work in a fast paced environment with new challenges daily.

Primary responsibilities include:

Registering guests, making and modifying reservations, hotel operator, and concierge duties. candidate must possess a positive and upbeat personality with a desire to deliver outstanding customer service to our guests. Also must have the ability to multi-task, be detail-oriented, and be able to problem solve in order to effectively deal with internal and external customers as well as closing the nights operations / night audits procedures.

 

Duties

Must have a flexible schedule, Friday and Saturday night audit shifts are mandatory

•be responsible for accurate check in and checkout of all hotel guests

•collect payments and post in the system

•utilize proper telephone etiquette when answering phones

•utilize proper telephone etiquette when answering phones, amenities and surrounding area to guest inquiries

•will attend department meetings as necessary

•perform shift audit at completion of shift *Night Auditor Only

•perform cashiering duties utilizing MSI for hotel store purchases

•follow safety and security procedures

•communicate as necessary with other Departments

•understands and apply emergency procedures

 

Qualifications

Requirements

•  High school diploma or equivalent required

•  Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office/Internet use)

•  Ability to communicate clearly (verbal & written).

•  Organizational skills are required

•  Should be able to multitask and should have the ability to resolve customer service issues

•  Concierge /knowledge preferred

•  Previous hotel / customer service experience required

-Most be fully bilingual Spanish and English.
