Reporting to the Marketing Director, the e-Commerce Merchandiser is in charge of creating strategic product layouts on the website and of optimizing the online shopping experience to increase sales.

Merchandising (70%):

• Create and update various collections of online products;
• Organize strategic and aesthetically pleasing page layouts of new arrivals;
• Update the product catalog to reflect current promotions, social networks and newsletters;
• Ensure all product sheets are accurate and up to date (prices, product descriptions, model photos, etc.);
• Create “Lookbook” outfits by combining new arrivals with older products, taking into account available quantities, upcoming events and promotions, seasons, etc .;
• Optimize the online shopping experience for our customers (improved navigation, product search, item categorization, etc.).

Writing (30%):

• Write and edit texts in French and English (advertisements, newsletters, social media captions, and any other organizational or marketing project);
• Work closely with employees and managers to ensure open communication and a consistent workflow;
• Work in partnership with the online store and physical stores (Boutique 1861, La petite garçonne and Boudoir 1861) to answer to their various needs.

• Minimum of college degree in writing, marketing or equivalent
• Two years experience required of fashion e-commerce or equivalent
• Bilingualism, written and oral
• Basic Computer Literacy: Microsoft Suite, Mac Mail, Google Suite;
• Bilingualism, oral and written;
• Knowledge in technical writing;
• Knowledge on Shopify software (an asset);
• Highly organized and self-directed;
• Sense of priorities and effectiveness
