Job Description

We are growing in response to continued demand for our services, driving the need for a customer-focused Full Stack Engineer in a fast-paced product and project development environment.  The ideal candidate will have the desire to “jump right in.”  We need results-oriented, customer-focused individuals who bring a high level of success meeting challenging project goals.

  • Develop solutions from the specification phase through the final delivery and acceptance testing is required
  • Thrive in a challenging technical and customer-focused environment
  • Design from a system perspective
  • Research, learn and adapt new technologies at a fast pace

Requisite Skills:

  • An interest in systems design architecture with an awareness of Cybersecurity implications
  • Experience with one or more of the leading cloud service systems (AWS, Google, Azure)
  • Comfortable with one or more leading web frameworks (Angular, Vue, React, etc.)
  • Ability to design RESTful interfaces
  • Working knowledge of containers (Docker etc.)
  • Knowledge of JavaScript / TypeScript and Python
  • Comfortable working in a Linux environment
  • Understanding of data schemas and database design
  • Comfortable using Git

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with PTC ThingWorx

Qualifications

 

  • One to six years of experience in software engineering
  • A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Driven to excel with an entrepreneurial mindset is a plus
  • No relocation

This role is restricted to US persons (i.e., US citizens, permanent residents, and other protected individuals under the Immigration and Naturalization Act, 8 USC 1324b(a)(3)) due to access to export-controlled technology. Boston Engineering will require proof of status prior to employment.
