Job Description

Our Digital Transformation group is looking for a PLM Analyst to help maintain and deploy PTC solutions. You are joining a growing team with proven success. In 2018 Boston Engineering became a PTC Platinum Solution Partner for the Internet of Things (IoT) ThingWorx, Vuforia Augmented Reality (AR), and Windchill PLM Solutions. Product design organizations partner with Boston Engineering to deploy and run their critical product design infrastructure. Solution deployment is on-premise or in the cloud with long-term support provided by internal IT or Boston Engineering under Application Managed Services contracts.

We are open to both entry-level and candidates with prior experience.  

Job Responsibilities:

  • Design computer systems to support the deployment of Windchill solutions
  • Participate in implementing PLM products for clients
  • Support existing PLM deployments at client locations
  • Proactively monitor PLM deployments

Qualifications

Successful candidates must have demonstrated capabilities in the following:

  • Degree in an Engineering or Computer Systems discipline
  • Working knowledge of Unix/Linux and Windows
  • Experience with any of the following a plus: CAD, Business Process Management Software, Java, SQL, Oracle, XML, Apache, Tomcat, and LDAP
  • Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot problems efficiently
  • Excellent customer interface skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills required
  • Availability for up to 50% travel
