Job Description

We are currently seeking an IT Group Manager to provide strategic direction and operational leadership for all corporate technology initiatives. This position requires IT management expertise and the ability to direct the company’s Operations and DevOps groups to ensure a high level of performance and support.

What will you do here?

  • Oversee the Operations group for effective day-to-day operations, including cyber security, help-desk support, and system administration
  • Direct the DevOps Group to design and to develop computer applications and programs
  • Supervise a staff while also working closely with management, external vendors, and advisors
  • Develop and manage the IT budget, which includes presenting proposals for capital projects to senior management
  • Oversee and manage multiple technical projects to support the company’s organizational goals
  • Partner with all key business functions to determine business requirements
  • Drive best practices within our IT team (help desk, system deployments, security, application engineering, etc.)
  • Improve and optimize company efficiency through process improvement and automation

Qualifications

  • BS degree in Information Technology or equivalent discipline 
  • Seven or more years of relevant experience, including managing teams
  • Hands-on technical expertise: scripting and/or programming languages, hardware configuration, etc.
  • Strong knowledge of systems administration, including security, monitoring, hardware/software integration, etc.
  • Expert-level knowledge of infrastructure and networking technologies
  • Experience with Windows and Linux Servers
  • Exposure to Journyx, Windchill, Zimbra and NIST desired
  • Excellent and proven time management, risk management, and organizational skills
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
  • Understand & practice job role in our quality management system as trained
  • US Person due to government contractual obligations
  • Preference is given to local candidates
