Job Description

Boston Engineering is looking to hire ThingWorx Consultants to support our growing Product Development Systems Services group.  These roles are key to enabling the development of our customer's smart connected products and operations. Our team is growing at all levels from experienced IoT Solution Architects to entry level IoT developers.

In 2018 Boston Engineering become a PTC Platinum Solution Partner for Internet of Things (IoT) ThingWorx Solutions, Vuforia (AR) Solutions, and Windchill PLM Solutions.  Product design organizations in industries from Medical, Consumer, Defense, and Industrial partner with Boston Engineering to bring their smart connected products to market.

Qualifications

Here are the things we feel you'll need to succeed.

We don't care about your exact level of completed education, but you need to be able demonstrate the ability to develop IoT solutions for both smart connected products and smart connect operations.

Web Application Development Process: You must have a passion for solid web application development following common best practices.  

IoT Platform:  You'll need to leverage platforms such as PTC ThingWorx, AWS IoT, and Azure IoT.

Front End Technologies:  You'll be developing web interfaces for browsers, Android, and iOS.  Technologies such as HTML5, JavaScript, and AJAX will be used.  

Back End Technologies: You'll need to pull data from many different sources to create mashups leveraging OData, SQL, Web Services, jQuery, and more.

US Citizen or permanent resident:  You must be able to work on ITAR projects and obtain a security clearance if needed.

Problem Solve:  We're the grease between technology and real world product design business challenges.  Unique challenges are raised every day and we need your problem solving skills to bring success to our customers.  

Do the work: We're looking for a person who can help the entire team execute.  Help bring the right data to the right person at the right time!
