Job Description

Pay to $60K Plus Bonus and Relocation to North Dakota.

Job Requirements

  • The creation of high-quality food from a taste and presentation standpoint.
  • Overall financial responsibility of culinary operation. Ensuring labor, food costs, inventory levels, and purchasing is in line.
  • Manage/Mentor a team of culinary professionals
  • Create checklists and line checks to ensure the kitchen is organized and properly prepared for the shift ahead
  • Create prep lists and assign to culinary team members for daily task lists
  • Inspect work of culinary team members to ensure sanitation, safety and preparedness
  • Help in preparation, design, and execution of all food menus
  • Ensure kitchen operates in a timely manner meeting all quality and sanitation standards
  • Planning menus and directing food preparation when needed
  • Resourcefully solve any issues that arise and seize control of any problematic situations
  • Manage and train kitchen staff and assess staff performance
  • Order supplies to keep inventory levels under control
  • Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers
  • Monitoring staff to control quality and food cost as well as ensuring all menu specifications

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of previous Sous Chef or Kitchen Supervisor experience required
  • 3+ years of Hotel Culinary experience strongly preferred
  • Understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures.
  • Must have managerial experience
  • Relo to North Dakota
