Make your mark as a Geotechnical Reporting Manager at Gardline!
Gardline are looking to recruit a geotechnical reporting manager to join their busy Geoconsultancy team based in Great Yarmouth.
As part of the Geoconsultancy management team you will be responsible for geotechnical data and report delivery to the client, keeping up with the latest industry standards and acquisition methods, and developing new data presentation methods in line with client requirements. You’ll also lead and manage a team of project engineers and play a key role in their development.
Your responsibilities:
- Provide day to day leadership and management to team of geotechnical project engineers and yearly intake of graduates including but not limited to, performance management, coaching, performance appraisal, and absence management
- Oversee technical input and quality control of geotechnical data during a project in line with industry standards and client specifications
- Coordinate and manage the submission of Geotechnical Reports in a timely manner
- Understand the full life cycle of an offshore site investigation project, from tendering to final deliverables, including a full laboratory programme including advanced testing
- Develop methodologies, calculations, and deliverables in line with industry standards and client requirements
- Provide technical input to tenders under direction of Head of Geoconsultancy
- Show a positive attitude and set an example for safety in the working environment
Your qualities:
You can make your mark as a geotechnical reporting manager if you have:
- A minimum BSc or equivalent degree with a specialisation in the Earth Sciences or Civil Engineering
- High level of experience in offshore geotechnical data acquisition
- Quality control and processing/Interpretation of CPT data and seabed samples
- Production of geotechnical reports
- Knowledge of technical methodologies and maintaining current processing and reporting processes in line with current industry standards
- Have previous experience of mentoring and training a team of geotechnical engineers
- Previous management experience would be advantageous
- Ability to travel (up-to-date Passport and valid Driving License)
Qualifications
- A minimum BSc or equivalent degree with a specialisation in the Earth Sciences or Civil Engineering
