Job Description

Make your mark as Quality Assurance / Quality Control Engineer at the business unit Offshore Heavy Lifting.
In this role you actively support projects in the business unit in the development, maintenance and compliance of the integrated Quality Management System (Way of Working/WoW), in line with internal, client, legal and certification requirements. This goes hand in hand with continuous improvement of our standards and processes in order to achieve operational excellence.
As QA/QC Engineer you will be based in Papendrecht (NL), however you are required to travel abroad to visit projects and sites on a regular basis.

This is what you will be doing as a QA/QC Engineer

  • Developing project and business unit QA/QC procedures, plans and instructions; 
  • Supporting tender and project quality documentations review; 
  • Internal and external quality systems audits; 
  • Carrying out and coordination of inspection activities in compliance to Industry standards and Client requirements;
  • Reviewing of inspection documents, procedures, ITPs;  

You can make a difference as a QA/QC Engineer if you have:

  • Good command of English (written and spoken).
  • At least 5 years experience in Quality Management.
  • Auditing experience and knowledge of ISO 9001, preferably ISO 14001 and ISO 45001.
  • Experienced management system auditor in a maritime environment is an advantage.
  • Experience of electronic reporting /action tracking software.

  • Your team: You are part of the Business Unit Offshore Heavy Lifting and you are part of the SHE-Q community within Offshore Energy Division. This community consist or approximately 10 people.
  • Where you will work: You will be working from our Campus in Papendrecht. You will visit project sites abroad multiple times a year.  
  • Full/part-time job: This is a fulltime position (40hrs a week). In consultation with your manager 1 or 2 days working from home is open for discussion.
