Job Description
How you can make your mark
As a Logistics Assistant you will work as part of the dedicated Supply Chain team in Providence, RI to ensure the smooth and effective coordination of all activities connected to the Logistics function with involvement in the following fields: material handling, packaging, warehousing, and distribution until the delivery to final customer.
Your responsibilities as a Logistics Assistant:
- Cataloging, recording and organizing incoming warehouse items.
- Checking the quality and quantity of incoming products and informing the Supply Chain team in case of any deviations.
- Locating and gathering products to be distributed.
- Responsible for the safe storage of products at the designated location.
- Recording of sent and received products in the ERP system and ensuring the timely availability of required documentation.
- Checking the stock levels in the warehouse and entering the data into the ERP system.
- Informing the Supply Chain team when inventory differences arise.
- Ensuring that goods are packed according to agreed standards before storing or dispatching to final destination.
- Ensuring safe loading and unloading practices when transporting goods.
You can make your mark as a Logistics Assistant if you have:
- 3+ years of working experience in a warehouse or shipping/receiving environment for a marine or heavy construction company.
- Minimum of High School education or equivalent required.
- Knowledge of safe usage of equipment (forklifts, cranes, lifting equipment, etc.).
- Heavy equipment operating licenses preferred.
- Stong communication skills.
- ERP System experience highly preferred.
- Abilty to lift 50lbs unassisted required.

- Your team: You will be part of the US Offshore Renewables team which is rapidly growing. Your direct reporting line will be in the project organization, mostly based in Providence USA. In the Project team, you will work most closely together with Procurement and Logistics Managers based primarily in and Providence.
- Where you will work: The US Offshore Renewables office is in Providence, Rhode Island. You will be required to travel on an ad-hoc basis to The Netherlands office for training purposes.
- Fulltime: The position is a fulltime job (salary based on 40 hours per week). Regular overtime required during execution season.

The pay range for this position is consists of a base rate of $40,000 - $65,200. Overtime will be additional. This pay range represents the minimum and maximum for this position. The actual wage offered will vary depending on candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications and premium geographic location
