Job Description

Your responsibilities (dependent on proposed level): 

  • Collect high quality data and sample collection, management and interpretation of results and to collate the findings in a comprehensive geotechnical factual report. 

  • Acquire and process high quality CPTu & SCPTu geotechnical data. 

  • Undertake basic offshore laboratory testing and soil and rock logging. 

  • Supervise and be responsible for a team of geotechnical staff on offshore projects. 

  • Perform computeriszed data processing and prepare results in accordance with industry standards and in-house practices. 

  • Compile field geotechnical reports offshore. 

  • Compile factual/engineering geotechnical reports onshore. 

  • Get involved in consultancy activities, including internal developments  

Your qualities: 
You can make your mark as a Geotechnical Project Engineer: 

  • A minimum BSc or equivalent degree with a specialisation in the Earth Sciences or Civil Engineering. 

  • High level of experience in offshore geotechnical data acquisition, depending on proposed level (Graduate to Senior) 

  • Quality control and processing/Interpretation of CPT data and seabed samples. 

  • Production of geotechnical reports 

  • Knowledge of basic and advanced laboratory testing, depending on proposed level (Graduate to Senior) 

  • Ability to travel (up-to-date Passport and valid Driving License)

  •  The position of function is a fulltime (37.5 hours a week).
