Job Description

Make your mark as a Project Manager at Gardline!

Under the guidance of the Business Line Manager, the Project Manager (oil and gas) will be responsible for formulating tender responses in co-ordination with other internal departments and third party suppliers in order to provide comprehensive, technically and contractually compliant proposals maximising the commercial benefits to Gardline.

To undertake all aspects of project management activities including; liaising with internal departments and external organisations in the execution and overall co-ordination and management of projects.

 

Your responsibilities include:

  • Build effective client relationships as well as carrying out client visit and formal presentations.
  • Assessment, preparation and submission of tenders and subsequent follow up action
  • Co-ordination and management of projects, ensuring all financial, contractual and other obligations are achieved in accordance with the agreed terms of reference and in accordance with the Companies HSSE standards.
  • Contract review, execution and management according to the Quality Assurance System, including risk management, budget control, performance review / client feedback, and client liaison throughout project lifecycle
  • Contribute to the effectiveness of the service through positive support and joint working with colleagues throughout the Group
  • Assist in ensuring the safety, security and maintenance of the offshore operations, information systems, fittings and equipment, including reporting defects and being responsible for your own safety, and that of other staff, and any member of the public who may be affected by your acts and omissions at work.
  • Assist with any other reasonable duties as requested by the Business Line Manager.  Additional training will be provided if required.

Your qualities

You can make your mark as a Project Manager in the oil and gas sector if you have:

  • Project Management experience in a relevant industry and ability to professionally lead and deliver projects from initial enquiry to completion.
  • Ideally of degree calibre or equivalent.
  • Works well under pressure and to deadlines.
  • Flexible and adaptable; to work in a changing environment and be open to new ideas.
  • Communicates; in a clear, open and honest way and encourages constructive feedback

  • A full drivers license would be advantageous.
  • Where you will work: Endeavour House, Admiralty Road, Great Yarmouth, Norfolk, NR30 3NG. Hybrid working is also available if the successful applicant is not local.
  • Fulltime job: The position of Project Manager is a fulltime role, 37.5 hours per week

Salary: £30,000 - £36,000 per year
