We're looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Translation professional to join our team in Abstatt, Germany. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality translations while maintaining consistency, accuracy, and cultural relevance. You will work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to ensure all translated content meets our organizational standards and project timelines.

• Translate documents, software interfaces, marketing materials, and technical content from English to German and vice versa with precision and cultural awareness
• Conduct thorough proofreading and quality assurance checks to ensure accuracy, consistency, and adherence to style guides
• Utilize Computer-Assisted Translation (CAT) tools and translation management systems to optimize workflow and maintain terminology databases
• Collaborate with project managers, subject matter experts, and other translators to clarify context and resolve translation challenges
• Maintain organized project documentation and track translation metrics to support continuous improvement
• Adapt content for localization purposes, considering cultural nuances and regional preferences
• Meet project deadlines while managing multiple translation assignments simultaneously
• Provide feedback on translation guidelines and contribute to the development of best practices

• Fluent proficiency in German and English (written and spoken)
• Proven experience in professional translation, localization, or related field
• Proficiency with CAT tools such as SDL Trados, MemoQ, or similar translation software
• Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple projects
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to delivering error-free translations
• Knowledge of translation industry standards and quality assurance processes
• Familiarity with technical, business, or specialized subject matter (preferred)
• Cultural awareness and understanding of localization best practices
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
• Strong analytical skills to assess translation challenges and develop effective solutions
• Experience with translation memory management and terminology databases (preferred)
