  • As a Project Manager, you will take responsibility for the successful implementation of projects in various business units. You will work in close cooperation with the business units, act in an entrepreneurial manner and be responsible for achieving the project goals. 
  • In your role, you will also provide temporary support in critical project phases, for example hands-on in the creation of project documents. You will work closely with the project managers in the business units and focus on the project goals and quality of the project work.
  • You will also identify optimization potential and implement your own ideas through to implementation. In addition, you will translate identified lessons learned into sustainable improvements and anchor them in the organization. In this way, you will actively contribute to shaping and improving project management within XC.
  • As a Software Developer, you will develop software solutions for embedded systems in all areas of automotive onboard software and in various ECU environments. You switch between the various development and test environments according to the task at hand and can quickly adapt to the specific environments. You will use various tools and programming languages as required.
  • You work systematically and to a high standard. Good documentation, complete implementation of requirements and process discipline are the basis of your deliveries. DevOps practices are just as natural to you as process requirements and high efficiency.
  • As a Procuct Compliance Expert, you will use your technical expertise and product knowledge in various areas of XC engineering, e.g. in development, product compliance or series support. One of the first projects in your new role will be to support product compliance activities (regulatory assessment) within one of the XC Business Units.

Qualifications

  • Education: University degree in engineering, natural sciences or a comparable course of study. Alternatively, university degree in computer science or a comparable course of study with expertise in software engineering. Alternatively degree in information security, computer science, mathematics, physics or similar. Alternatively degree in electrical engineering, information technology/security
  • Experience and Knowledge: Sound knowledge in at least one of the areas of expertise described. Project Management Expert: experience as a project manager and extended knowledge of project management. Software Developer: experience in software development for at least 4 years, preferably accompanying a series production start-up, many years of experience in imperative programming languages and scripting languages, experience in architecture modeling and design, experience with process requirements and Automotive SPICE. Product Compliance Expert: Experience in automotive system development as well as in deriving technical requirements and knowledge of global regulations, experience in customer/supplier interaction and facilitation, including system development, testing and requirements management, experience with DOORS (Classic and Next) and willingness to learn new tools such as ProCodex, experience in agile planning and good knowledge of Bosch guidelines (e.g. GF182)
  • Personality and Working Practice: You are a strong team player who can motivate and convince others. You have an entrepreneurial mindset and are quick to acquire new knowledge. You develop pragmatic solutions and take responsibility while actively tackling challenges and driving your ideas forward. You are willing to continuously learn and develop, and you enjoy trying out new tools and technologies. You also communicate your ideas clearly and convincingly, enjoy working in a team and inspire others
  • Languages: Very good communication skills in written and spoken German and English
