Job Description

Job description: 

  • Develop, implement and adapt the overarching IT Audit Strategy. Create comprehensive annual IT audit plans. Continuously monitor the global IT Risk Landscape and emerging technologies to ensure future-proof audit coverage.
  • Lead strategic initiatives within C/AU, driving the continuous improvement and evolution of auditing processes.
  • Build and lead a high-performing, global IT audit team. Implement location concepts and a dynamic auditor rotation model to foster a culture of continuous learning, personal growth, and deep engagement.
  • As Audit Director, oversee all IT audit engagements from planning to feedback. Lead the audit team to ensure the successful performance of all audits, guaranteeing professional standards and comprehensive risk coverage across the IT domain.
  • Forge and manage relationships with a wide range of internal stakeholders, including Executive Management and Governance Functions, ensuring alignment and effective communication.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • Education: completed university studies in Information Technology, Computer Science or a comparable subject.
  • Experience and Knowledge: 10+ years of progressive IT experience, with at least 5 years in a significant leadership role managing IT functions (e.g. development, operations, infrastructure, support). Deep, hands-on experience with IT processes and services at Bosch, including a strong understanding of both central functions and decentralized environments (e.g. RB-Plants). Strong business acumen with the ability to connect IT risks and controls directly to business objectives and strategic priorities. 
  • Personality and Working Practice: 
    Strategic thinker and change agent who understands IT from the inside out. Collaborative with excellent interpersonal / communication skills, capable of building robust relationships across all levels of the organization and navigating complex stakeholder environments from the technical level to Executive Management.
  • Languages: Business fluency in English is mandatory. Proficiency in German is highly advantageous.
