Job Description

You navigate the complexities of global compliance with confidence, actively shaping the future of our M&A activities. If you are ready to ensure export control and sanctions compliance with strategic foresight and precision, while making a significant impact on our corporate success, a role with true creative freedom and strategic influence awaits you.

  • You assume the central coordination of all M&A activities in the area of export control and sanctions compliance management systems, ranging from acquisitions and divestitures to joint ventures and post-merger integrations.
  • In close collaboration with global governance functions and business units, you steer projects to ensure compliant integration and divestment.
  • You regularly review and assess the compliance measures for existing joint ventures and initiate adjustments when necessary.
  • As an active member of our Program Management Team, you make a significant contribution to the continuous improvement and maintenance of Bosch’s global sanctions and export control program.
  • You implement export compliance program tools that are tailored to risk management principles and project-specific requirements, in coordination with global governance functions.
  • The coordination of the rollout of our standardized global processes takes place in close collaboration with the responsible teams and individuals for sanctions and export controls.

Qualifications

  • Education: completed Bachelor’s degree; a Master’s degree or a legal background is an advantage
  • Experience and Knowledge: more than 10 years of relevant experience in export control or customs compliance; proven expertise in project management, especially in M&A projects; sound knowledge of EU and US sanctions and export control regimes as well as trade compliance programs; ability to strategically define and structure processes; experience with SAP GTS is a great advantage; strong analytical skills as well as problem-solving and decision-making strength; proven ability to proactively identify export control issues
  • Personality and Working Practice: you take responsibility for overall success, set clear priorities and use resources effectively; set common goals above individual interests and have a positive effect on your environment; you recognize and promote individual strengths within your team; you use challenges as an opportunity for further development and shapes sustainable learning
  • Work Routine: with us, you can work hybrid – we meet in the office two to three times every week
  • Languages: business fluent in written and spoken German and English
