Job Description

  • As a DevOps Engineer you are responsible for the development and the maintaining of automated pipelines for continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) using tools like Jenkins
  • You work in the Vehicle Diagnostics team, for a description click here
  • You manage and optimize cloud-based solutions (AWS, Azure) and ensure a scalable and efficient infrastructure
  • You implement and manage containerization using Docker, and orchestrate containers using Kubernetes
  • Furthermore, you set up and maintain monitoring solutions and analyze system performance and implement optimizations for scalability and reliability
  • You ensure that robust security measures are in place, including network security, secure coding practices, and data encryption. You regularly update systems to address security vulnerabilities
  • In this role you troubleshoot and resolve issues in development, testing, and production environments. You provide technical leadership in high-pressure situations
  • You work closely with development, QA, and operations teams to ensure a smooth deployment process. You communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders
  • Guiding and mentoring junior DevOps team members, leading DevOps strategy planning and implementation, as well as evaluating and recommending new tools and technologies to improve efficiency round off your profile

Qualifications

  • You have a completed degree in the field of computer science, technical computer science, IT security, physics or similar studies
  • You have several years of hands-on software engineering/SRE/DevOps experience with profound knowledge in operating a cloud service. You have experience with Kubernetes, infrastructure-as-code, logging, monitoring, CI/CD pipelines automation
  • You have an independent, systematic as well as focused way of working practice. Your hands-on mindset and intercultural skills characterize you. You have many years of experience in agile software development where you used programming languages like Go, Typescript, or Python
  • Your thinking and actions are shaped by your passion to solve hard technical problems and find creative solutions
  • Thanks to your high sense of responsibility and very good communication skills you are a reliable team player
  • Fluent business English skills round off your profile
