Job Description

“BooST” is a strategic project of Bosch Building Technologies within the Product Business (BT-ST). Target of the project is the implementation of performance, governance and excellence in sales & marketing, to ensure sustainable sales growth.

We are looking for a program manager of the booST project, with a direct reporting line to the CEO. Your tasks include:

  • Transition & Leadership: You create a high-performance team which is able to design and execute measures along the three dimensions: governance, excellence and performance.
  • Drumbeat: You continue the high frequency sales steering methodology.
  • Collaboration: You are the glue between the Board, the Business Units sales leadership, and all relevant corporate departments (e.g. LOG/HR) when it comes to the continuation of BT-ST’s growth path.
  • Sales Strategy (Marketing Mix): You guide & challenge the BU’s sales strategy by incorporating your market expertise, incl. competitor, channel and stakeholder view into the BU sales strategy.
  • Pricing Excellence: You manage BT-ST’s pricing strategy in cooperation with the BU’s pricing council members (along three lenses: market, product, cost), you ensure the effectiveness of the measures (PCR) and develop future pricing strategies such as value based pricing.
  • Go-to-Market Efficiency: You are coordinating improvement initiatives to improve the BU Go-to-market, channel (e.g. DI/SI strategy) and territorial strategy (e.g. Latin America) and work closely with the board as well as the BU sales and marketing leadership to gain efficiency improvements.
  • Sales steering: You are responsible for state-of-the-art sales steering tools, with BU specific steering KPIs (e.g. accounts, regions, product) and you implement a forward looking sales steering along the funnel.
  • CRM: You introduce a new CRM system and ensure a high stakeholder buy-in, usage along all sales functions & transparency on the sales performance and quality.
  • Sales initiatives & Accelerator: You foster on already initiated measures (e.g. Inside Sales) and consequently lead them into success, you continuously bring in new ideas and serve as an accelerator for new growth initiatives.
  • Market Trends: You lead our organization towards new/digital sales strategies and establish a close monitoring of competitor strategies.
  • Performance management: You lead the way towards a high-performance sales organization.
  • Sales compensation: You ensure the developed sales incentive model is fostered and further improved. Governance is ensured via strict process compliance and tools (e.g. SAP commissions). Sales rewarding programs will be continuously improved (e.g. Circle of Excellence).
  • Potential oriented Target setting: You support the growth mindset with a potential oriented target setting, which is the basis for the finance & controlling sales target setting (i.e. TNS & OI targets).
  • Skills & People: You analyze necessary capability and capacity build-ups and align with the training, talent and staffing strategy. Based on the BU specific customer journey you identify the collaboration model across sales functions, e.g. inside sales, business development, district management and ensure role specific training catering for specific role needs (such as marketing mix).

Qualifications

  • Education: degree in Business Administration or comparable education
  • Personality: self-driven and proactive, entrepreneurial thinking, convincing and resilient with a growth mindset. Ability to work in a high performance environment and collaborate with top management members and across hierarchies
  • Working style: strong creative drive, goal and result orientation, problem solving skills and excellent negotiation skills
  • Several years of Sales & Marketing Management experience, preferably in a large international organization with focus on Pricing, CRM, Sales Steering etc.
  • Languages: Business fluent in English, German would be a plus combined with excellent communication skills on all hierarchical levels
